Field Observation 2

In the classroom that I observed, it was an 8th grade science class and in the lesson that they were doing for that day they were talking about different masses of water when it is in the different states of water. Some of the things that I noticed about the classroom is that the students were sitting in groups when it came to the sitting arrangement. Another thing that I noticed is that when the students were sharing their ideas they were very respectful and they were going off of what their peers had said before they were talking. With the students’ discussion the students were able to agree and disagree with what the other person was saying and then the students went into detail on why they agree or disagree with what their classmate had said. Another thing that I noticed while I was watching the class was how well the teacher was able to control the classroom management, kept the students involved, and kept the class discussion going.
